let me tell you a little bit about little e and how it all began. we are a married couple, chris and rachael, who began our work together when we married almost ten years ago (wow…had it really been that long?). we began as apollo design, and worked freelance from a two bedroom apartment. apollo was born out of a love of design and a thirst for knowledge. we developed our skills while creating logos, sites, and animations for family and friends.

chris is the technical, left-brained network/streaming media guy, and rachael (that'd be me) is the creative, right-brained design girl. chris has found a new love in photography, and snaps up anything and everything, quickly mastering the art form. he has already had his work published on multiple music cd projects, web sites, and printed materials, and has booked some premier shoots throughout 2009 already. we enjoy having a great photographer at hand, as i like giving sites and graphics work that personal touch that can only come from original design.

change happens fast in the technical realm, so we have had to stay on the cutting edge to better meet our customers' needs. chris and i both have careers in computer related fields (again with him being the network guy, and me the designer), but continue to do freelance work on the side.

through the years I've had the opportunity to branch out in my design work. i've created logos for bands for web and printed materials, have had my work on six different t-shirts to date, built flash animation intros, sites, and menus too many times to count, and have designed and created a multitude of sites for clients ranging from a single realtor to entire distribution companies. as new needs are presented, we welcome the challenges they bring, which continues to help us grow and expand our knowledge.

we have three beautiful children, who keep us very busy all on their own. our oldest is six, and our twins are now two. through the premature birth of our twins, we have become extremely involved in non-profit agencies throughout the chattanooga area. not only do we volunteer our time whenever possible, but I now focus primarily on non-profits for design and marketing. we have an ever growing passion for the incredible work done by these agencies, and we are thrilled to be a part of them.
